The association admits life membership for those having qualification of a graduate or higher degree in any branch of Science and Engineering with professional interest in Photonics and / or  related areas. PSI members work in research facilities, educational settings and industries in and outside India. Whether you are a researcher, scientist, engineer, teacher, student, or simply possess a real commitment to the advancement of photonics, you are invited to become part of this dynamic organization.

Membership Fee

Institutional Membership: Rs. 2010/-
Life Membership: Rs. 510/-
Annual Membership: Rs.110/-
Student Membership: Rs. 60/-  for one year

Membership Fee can be paid through demand draft ( in favour of Photonics Society of India payable at Ernakulam) / cheque (Payable at the SBT Thrikkakkara branch) /MO, mailed to the General Secretary  at the address given below.

To apply for membership, the fee draft/ cheque should be accompanied by the prescribed form giving details like : name, mailing address (with PIN Code), phone/fax #s, email address, date of birth, academic qualifications, present position, awards received etc.
